How to play Texas Hold’Em Poker
Texas Hold’Em is the world’s most popular game of poker.
Extremely entertaining and once you know how to play, you’ll be raring to go.
Every player is dealt two cards and five cards are dealt to the community.
To form your best hand you can use either one or both of your cards and cards from the community to create the best possible five-card hand.
Whichever play puts together the best hand wins the pot.
To create a staring pot, the two players to the left of the dealer post blinds and then the game gets underway, which is split into stages.
Stage One – The Deal
Every player is dealt 2 cards and then the first betting round commences, a player can opt to fold and be removed for the round at any time.
Stage Two – The Flop
Once the first betting round is finished, three cards are dealt face up called ‘The Flop’, then the second round of betting takes place.
Stage Three – The Turn
This time just one more card is dealt and the third round of betting commences.
Stage Four
The fifth and last card is called the river, betting commences and carries on until bets are settled and then the players that still remain reveal their cards and the winner is decided.
This continues until one player has successfully taken all the chips and is declared the winner.
